Saga Robotics strengthens board with seasoned executive Nina Bjornstad to drive growth

We are thrilled to announce that Nina Bjornstad has joined the Board of Saga Robotics. Saga Robotics develops innovative, sustainable agriculture solutions with the world-leading, autonomous Thorvald robot. Thorvald excels in UV-C light treatment for controlling powdery mildew in strawberries and grapevines while simultaneously offering advanced, data-driven services.

Nina Bjornstad brings more than 20 years of experience from leading technology giants such as Amazon, Microsoft, and Google where she held numerous executive positions, most recently the Country Manager of Google Cloud for UK&I. She is a Board member in Telenor and SAS, and holds various other venture-backed board and advisory positions roles at both entrepreneurial ventures like Utopi Ltd, and also established companies like Mace Group, and PWC UK.

We are also pleased to welcome Yvonne Silden Langlo to the Board, representing our main investor, Nysnø Climate Investments. She has nearly 15 years investment experience and has worked for more than a decade in the UK and the US. She has been a portfolio manager of consumer equities at Norges Bank Investment Management and brings financial expertise as well as experience in the food and consumer sector to the Board.

With these appointments, the Saga Robotics board is poised to support the fast paced growth of this rapidly expanding industry.
