Saga Robotics appoints Sacha de La Noë as CEO to lead next phase of growth

Saga Robotics, a global leader in autonomous solutions for agriculture, announces the appointment of Sacha de La Noë as its new Chief Executive Officer. Sacha brings more than 30 years of international leadership experience at the intersection of hardware and software innovation, with a strong track record of delivering customer value and scaling global B2B businesses.

A Swedish national, Sacha has held senior roles across Sweden, Italy, Spain, the UK, US, France, Singapore, and China. He joins Saga Robotics with deep operational expertise and a leadership style defined by pragmatism, collaboration, and clear focus on outcomes.

Saga Robotics’ Chair Dorn Wenninger commented: “After an extensive global search, we’re pleased to welcome Sacha de La Noë as CEO. His appointment marks a significant step as Saga Robotics enters a new stage of growth. Sacha brings both the international business acumen and the leadership mindset we need to build a scalable, impactful business in agriculture robotics.”

Sacha de La Noë said:  “I’m truly impressed by Saga and everything the team has accomplished so far. The product is outstanding and holds tremendous potential to deliver customer value while making a positive environmental impact. I’m thrilled to join the team and look forward to working closely with everyone in this next chapter of Saga Robotics’ success story.”

Sacha’s appointment allows Co-Founder Pål Johan From, who has served as acting CEO while also leading Saga Robotics’ expansion in the US, to focus entirely on scaling operations in California’s wine industry — a key growth market for Saga Robotics.

Pål Johan From said:  “With Sacha’s arrival, I can now fully dedicate myself to building our wine business in California. Success in this space means moving fast and delivering exceptionally strong results. Sacha’s experience and leadership style are a great fit for the company, and I’m confident he will be a strong force in Saga Robotics’ continued progress.”

Saga Robotics is best known for Thorvald, its field-proven, autonomous agricultural robot that enables growers to reduce labor, chemical use, and waste. The company’s solutions are currently focused on high-value crops like strawberries and grapes, with operations across the UK and US.

Sacha de La Noë’s appointment positions Saga Robotics to expand its commercial footprint, deepen its technology leadership, and continue delivering practical solutions to growers facing rising pressures in productivity, sustainability, and labor.
